Se requiere una autorización para todas las admisiones de pacientes hospitalizados, procedimientos para pacientes ambulatorios, todos los servicios fuera del área y fuera de la red y otros servicios según lo define El Paso Health, con la excepción de los servicios de planificación familiar. En caso de que un Proveedor tenga conocimiento de un pago en exceso, se le notificara rápidamente a El Paso Health. Los pagos en exceso se devolverán en un plazo de 60 días a partir de la fecha de notificación a El Paso Health. En caso de que no se reciba el pago en exceso, El Paso Health procederá a recuperar el pago en exceso del proveedor. El dominio de la competencia cultural se demuestra cuando los Proveedores reconocen el punto de vista de un Miembro sobre su atención medica e integran esa conciencia en la prestación de servicios médicos. El Paso Health facilita Provider orientation sessions  para promover nuestro Plan de Competencia Cultural y educar a los Proveedores de la red sobre servicios culturalmente competentes para evitar disparidades en la prestación de servicios médicos a las diversas poblaciones de El Paso SDA.

Por acuerdo contractual, todos los proveedores de la red deben cumplir con los estándares de la Ley de Estadounidenses con Discapacidades (ADA). Nuestros representantes de relaciones con proveedores realizan visitas al sitio de acreditación, así como visitas trimestrales a proveedores de atención primaria, obstetras y proveedores de salud conductual y visitas anuales a todos los demás especialistas, para garantizar que las ubicaciones de los proveedores sean accesibles para los Proveedores de la red de El Paso Health en forma escrita, cuando se solicite. Nuestro Manual para proveedores incluye una sección sobre competencia cultural.

La discusión del Grupo Asesor de Proveedores se lleva a cabo trimestralmente a raves de la Reunión del Comité de Gestión de la Utilización. El panel de proveedores brinda orientación sobre las mejoras para mantener y mejorar continuamente el servicio de El Paso Health a la red de proveedores y para garantizar la satisfacción del proveedor con los procesos del plan de salud.
